New Mexico Collaboration to End Hunger

The New Mexico Collaboration to End Hunger was founded by Nancy Pope, with support of three Foundations in early 2008 after New Mexico fell to the worst in the nation in food insecurity. The Collaboration has grown to over 85 partners in the past 3+ years. The first Plan was completed in fall 2010 with the Overarching Goal being accomplished. The Goal was to move New Mexico from the worst in the nation to the 5th worst in 3 years.  New Mexico is now ranked 12th worst in the nation in food insecurity. A new Plan has been written with community input. The Plan is the 2011-2015 New Mexico Plan to End Hunger and is posted on the Collaboration’s website: www.endNMhunger.org
